Hiring: Plant Head / Director - Operations | Whirlpool India

Location: Ranjangaon, Pune

Facility: Flagship Manufacturing Facility (~1.7M annual volume)

We are seeking a high-caliber leader to take end-to-end P&L, strategic, and operational ownership of our flagship manufacturing plant in Pune.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic & Financial Leadership: Drive plant P&L, operational strategy, CAPEX/OPEX, and capacity planning.
• Operational Excellence: Lead World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean, TPM, OEE optimization, and cost efficiency initiatives, Industry 4.0/Digitization/Automation.
• Quality & NPI: Deliver zero-defect manufacturing and lead 'First Time Right' New Product Introductions.
• Supply Chain & EHS: Build resilient vendor networks, optimize working capital, and champion Zero Harm safety standards.
• IR & Leadership: Drive union collective bargaining, statutory compliance, and team development.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 18–20 years total (5–7 years as Plant Head/Factory Director).
• Industry: High-Volume Consumer Durables or Tier-1 Auto OEM.
• Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mech/Elec/Prod); MBA preferred.
• Core Expertise: WCM, Lean, TPM, TPS, Six Sigma, and Maharashtra Labor Laws.
