Job Description

Purpose: Independently analyze, design, implement, test, and document ABS/PLSQL-based changes while supporting change quality and Standing Team delivery.

Primary focus

• Independent delivery of Avaloq Script and SQL/PLSQL based change requests and enhancements.
• Advanced ABS experience in the assigned functional context, including data structures and application behavior.
• Contribution to code quality, documentation, process analysis, test evidence, release preparation, and delivery transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, technical designs, and implementation tasks.
• Develop, customize, and test Avaloq Script and SQL/PLSQL solutions independently.
• Clarify implementation questions, manage assumptions, and address defects found during change testing.
• Support release preparation, deployment documentation, quality checks, and decision records.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, domain experts, product, risk/compliance, and engineering stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

Expected knowledge and skills

• Advanced SQL/PLSQL skills with focus on correctness, performance, maintainability, and testability.
• Advanced ABS experience, including supported functional modules, data structures, and configuration logic.
• Experience with Agile delivery tools and practices such as Jira, Confluence, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and transparent progress tracking is expected; German language skills are an advantage.
