Short-term, Business Language Interpreter (Mandarin bilingual)

At this time, we are looking for a well-spoken, Mandarin bilingual Business Language Interpreter who will be embedded at the Whitefield office in Bengaluru, India to engage in client support matters involving email, messaging, phone calls with primarily Mandarin speaking customers.

Basic terms:

• Term: 3-months
• Days/hours: Monday to Friday during standard IST business hours
• Capacity: Up to 40 hours per week
• Location: Phase I, Ashraya Layout, Garudachar Palya, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka
• Start date: September 21, 2026
• Pay rate: $15 USD per hour
• Language required: Mandarin (conversational to native fluency); English (professional proficiency)

Key Responsibilities

• Spoken business communications in Mandarin with client teams;
• Email and Slack interpretation and response in Mandarin;
• Real time interpretation and translation of Mandarin documentation; and
• In-office communications in English

Qualifications

• Language(s): Mandarin reading, writing and spoken skills to respond to customer support related issues that may involve phone calls, email, Slack, etc.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: Prior customer-facing experience
