Senior Fund Accountant

We are seeking a collaborative and motivated Senior Fund Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with a self-starter mentality and a strong private equity fund accounting background to take ownership of complex, multi-entity reporting from day one. You will work cross-functionally alongside the broader Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Investor Relations functions, building relationships with team members across departments, external advisors, and members of the management team. • Prepare monthly close and quarter-end reporting for multi-entity funds on a fair value basis, including financial statements, key metrics (fund-level and Gross IRRs), and investor capital activity statements.

• Record and review general ledger transactions, including complex multi-entity allocation journal entries.

• Prepare and review account, bank, and capital allocation reconciliations, plus weekly investment and debt schedules.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with the remittance, treasury, and corporate teams.

• Coordinate with Treasury on fund cash management.

• Prepare quarterly covenant analysis, management fee calculations, and tax estimate information for annual returns.

• Prepare supplemental investor reporting and audit schedules, providing audit support as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or commensurate work experience.

• 4+ years of related accounting experience in an investment fund setting.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a particular focus on MS Excel (pivot tables, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, etc.).

• Ability to understand and enter intercompany transactions on a multi-ledger accounting system.

• Experience preparing and analysing consolidated and combined financial statements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate across all levels of staff and management.

• Experience using Yardi or other accounting GL and financial reporting systems.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Exceptionally process- and detail-oriented.

• Team-oriented, able to share information, goals, opportunities, successes, and challenges with the appropriate parties.
