Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced IBM BPM/BAW Administrator responsible for the administration, operations, maintenance, and support of IBM Business Process Management (BPM) / Business Automation Workflow (BAW) platforms. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of the BPM/BAW environment in a 24×7 production support setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24×7 Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support for IBM BPM/BAW environments.
- Perform day-to-day administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of BPM/BAW platforms.
- Carry out patching, upgrades, fixes, and version upgrades in accordance with approved change-management procedures.
- Monitor system health, capacity, availability, and performance, and perform performance tuning and optimization as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2/L3 incidents and technical issues related to IBM BPM/BAW infrastructure and application environments.
- Analyze recurring issues and implement appropriate root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the IBM/OEM support team for complex technical issues and raise/manage PMRs (Problem Management Records).
- Support Data Center (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) operations and ensure readiness of the DR environment.
- Participate in and execute DR drills, testing, and planned switchovers/failovers.
- Ensure compliance with defined SLAs, operational procedures, security requirements, and change-management processes.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, configuration records, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Prepare and maintain periodic operational and performance reports for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, network, security, and OEM teams for issue resolution and planned activities.
- Perform knowledge transfer (KT) to other team members and maintain updated operational knowledge.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, IT service-management processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification in:
- Computer Science / IT
- Electronics & Communication
- Electronics
- Other relevant engineering/technology discipline
- Degree must be from a Government-recognized university/institute.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in IBM BPM/BAW administration and production support.
- Strong hands-on experience in IBM BPM / IBM BAW platform administration.
- Experience working in a 24×7 O&M / production support environment.
