Responsibilities

• Assist in editing short-form videos and digital content for social media platforms.
• Work with raw footage to create engaging and visually appealing videos.
• Add basic transitions, text, captions, graphics, music, and sound effects to videos.
• Support the team in creating simple motion graphics and visual effects.
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across video content.
• Collaborate with the creative and content teams to understand briefs and deliver edits within timelines.
• Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the final output meets the required quality.
• Stay updated with current social media video trends, editing styles, transitions, and formats.
• Organize project files, footage, assets, and media libraries efficiently.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and video editing tools.

Required Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro – video editing
• Adobe After Effects – basic motion graphics and effects
• Adobe Photoshop – basic image editing and graphics
• Adobe Illustrator – basic vector design and graphic elements
• Good understanding of video composition, transitions, pacing, and storytelling.
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new editing techniques.
• Ability to take feedback positively and incorporate revisions quickly.

Portfolio Requirement

A relevant portfolio/showreel is required. The portfolio can include college projects, personal projects, social media content, reels, YouTube videos, or other video-editing work that demonstrates the candidate's creativity and editing skills. The type and complexity of videos expected from the intern will be aligned with the reference video shared with the job brief. Candidates are not expected to have advanced professional-level editing experience, but should demonstrate a good understanding of basic editing principles and a willingness to learn.
