Position: Executive – Internal Audit & MIS

SGT University is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an Executive – Internal Audit & MIS.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct departmental, operational, financial and compliance audits as per the approved audit plan.
• Assist in preparing audit scopes, checklists and audit reports.
• Identify gaps, discrepancies, irregularities and areas of non-compliance and report observations to seniors.
• Conduct surprise checks related to inventory and financial activities across departments such as Transport, Mess and Hostel.
• Coordinate with departments for MIS collection, validation and analysis.
• Analyse departmental data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Maintain proper documentation of audit observations, corrective actions and resolutions.
• Prepare concise reports and presentations for management.
• Participate in committee meetings and coordinate with various departments.
• Support management in identifying opportunities for process improvement and strengthening internal controls.

🔹 Candidate Profile

• MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com + MBA Finance preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Process Audit, Finance Audit, Compliance, MIS or Internal Controls.
• Candidates with experience in the University/Education sector will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MIS, data analysis and reporting.
• Good analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
• Willingness to conduct field/departmental checks as required.
