Job Summary

SANeForce is looking for a Software Tester with 1–2 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing along with basic knowledge of Automation Testing.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding requirements, preparing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, performing regression testing, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze business and functional requirements and identify testing requirements.
    • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
    • Perform Manual Testing of web and software applications.
    • Conduct Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, System, and UI Testing.
    • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
    • Perform defect verification and regression testing after bug fixes.
    • Reproduce issues and provide clear steps and supporting information to the development team.
    • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Customer Success teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
    • Perform API Testing using tools such as Postman, where required.
    • Perform basic Database/SQL Testing to validate application data.
    • Participate in requirement reviews and provide testing-related inputs.
    • Execute testing across different browsers, devices, and environments.
    • Maintain testing documentation and ensure test results are properly recorded.
    • Assist in creating and executing basic Automation Test Scripts.
    • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and overall product quality.

Required Skills

    • 1–2 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
    • Strong knowledge of Manual Testing.
    • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
    • Good knowledge of Test Case Design and Test Execution.
    • Experience in Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
    • Good understanding of Defect Life Cycle.
    • Experience with Bug Tracking and Defect Reporting.
    • Basic knowledge of Automation Testing.
    • Basic knowledge of SQL / Database Testing.
    • Basic knowledge of API Testing is preferred.

    • Basic understanding of Automation Testing and willingness to develop automation skills.
    • Good logical and analytical thinking.
    • Ability to identify functional issues and edge cases.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools.
    • Quality-focused with strong ownership of assigned testing activities.
