CTC - 7lpa to 8.5lpa

Role Description The Sales Executive / Engineer – CNC, Lathe Machines role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and engaging prospective clients in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, presenting CNC and lathe machine solutions, and managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. The Sales Executive / Engineer will provide technical demonstrations, explain machine features and specifications, and offer application-based recommendations. They will prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation. Daily activities also include maintaining client relationships, tracking sales performance, gathering market intelligence, and supporting after-sales service coordination to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CNC and lathe machines, manufacturing processes, and basic mechanical or industrial engineering principles.
• Proven sales skills including lead generation, client prospecting, negotiation, and closing, preferably in industrial equipment or machine tools.
• Ability to provide technical product presentations, interpret technical specifications, and recommend suitable solutions based on client requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and collaborate with internal technical and service teams.
• Comfort with reporting, using CRM or sales tracking tools, and preparing accurate quotations and documentation.
• Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, is highly beneficial.
• Previous experience in machine tools, industrial automation, or manufacturing sales in the Mumbai region is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings, plant visits, and on-site demonstrations as required.
