Head of School (IGCSE)

Role Description The Head of School (IGCSE Curriculum) at will provide strategic and instructional leadership, overseeing the academic program, student experience, and overall school operations. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai includes guiding curriculum implementation, supporting teachers through coaching and performance management, and fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive school climate.

The Head of School will collaborate with staff to set educational goals, monitor student outcomes, and use data to inform school improvement initiatives. Daily responsibilities include engaging with families and the broader community, managing budgets and resources, ensuring compliance with educational standards and policies, and representing the school’s vision and values. The role also involves leading professional development, promoting innovation in teaching and learning, and maintaining effective communication across all stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in IGCSE Curriculum, with experience in school administration or equivalent leadership roles.
• Expertise in Curriculum Development and aligning programs with learning standards and student needs.
• Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with teachers, students, families, and external partners.
• Ability to conduct and apply Research to inform instructional practices and school improvement efforts.
