We are seeking a talented GIS Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS applications and geospatial solutions. The role involves working with GIS Architects, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and Project Managers to build scalable GIS applications, integrate spatial data with enterprise systems, and support Digital Twin platforms.
The ideal candidate has experience with Esri technologies, web GIS development, spatial databases, and GIS application integration.
Responsibilities
GIS Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications using the Esri technology stack.
- Develop interactive web GIS applications, dashboards, mapping solutions, custom widgets, tools, and web components.
- Configure and customise ArcGIS Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, and ArcGIS Dashboards.
- Build responsive GIS interfaces for desktop and mobile platforms.
GIS Integration
- Integrate GIS applications with Digital Twin platforms, IoT devices, AIS, VTMS, CCTV/video analytics, SCADA, ERP and asset management systems, and Command & Control Centres.
- Develop REST API integrations with enterprise applications.
Spatial Data Management
- Create and maintain enterprise geodatabases and manage GIS datasets, metadata, and version control.
- Publish and manage map, feature, image, and geoprocessing services.
- Perform spatial analysis, geocoding, data validation, data migration, and geospatial ETL.
Software Development
- Develop custom GIS modules and extensions using modern programming frameworks.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while following development best practices.
- Optimise application performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews.
Testing & Deployment
- Perform unit and integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare deployment packages and release documentation.
- Assist with production deployments and application support.
Documentation
Prepare and maintain Technical Design Documents, GIS Configuration Guides, API Documentation, Source Code Documentation, Deployment Guides, User Manuals, Technical Specifications, Test Cases, and Release Notes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, Geoinformatics, Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in GIS or Computer Science is an added advantage.
- 3–6 years of experience in GIS application development.
- Hands-on experience with Esri technologies and enterprise GIS application development.
- Experience in Government, Smart City, Utilities, Seaport, or Infrastructure projects is desirable.
Esri Technologies: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Survey123, and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server (preferred).
Programming: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python (ArcPy), HTML5, CSS3, and SQL.
Frameworks & APIs: ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, REST APIs, GeoJSON, JSON, OGC Standards (WMS, WFS, WMTS), with Node.js, React, or Angular preferred.
Databases: Enterprise Geodatabase, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, and Oracle Spatial.
DevOps & Tools: Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, and Docker (preferred).
Experience in one or more of the following is desirable:
Seaport & Maritime Operations, Smart Cities, Utilities, Transportation, Digital Twin Platforms, Environmental Monitoring, Industrial Automation, Government GIS, Asset Management, and Infrastructure Projects.

Willingness to travel for client workshops, site visits, deployment, and implementation support when required.
