Role & Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for all accounts payable activities, accounts receivable, including but not limited to:

• Lead, guide, and review work of junior accountants, assign tasks and ensure timelines are met, support team development and process improvements.
• Should have experience in managing all aspects of accounts payable & accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain and update financial records including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Oversee client billing and ensure timely invoicing in coordination with account managers.
• Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Support financial audits, both internal and external.
• Should involve coordinating with vendors or suppliers regarding purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and payments, ensuring proper bookkeeping practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting or a related field (commerce background preferred).
• 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of different types of accounting records, including journals, ledgers, trial balances, and profit and loss statements.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and accounting principles.
• Proficient in using accounting software such as Tally and Zoho Books.
