The firm helps borrowers navigate institutional lending through proposal readiness, strategic lender alignment, and disciplined structuring. RCA’s services span asset-backed financing, corporate and SME capital, refinancing and consolidation, and tailored private client borrowing structures. The organization is relationship-led and lifecycle-oriented, supporting clients beyond disbursal with ongoing capital oversight. Team members work closely with clients and lenders, gaining exposure to complex transactions and long-term advisory relationships.
Role Description The Credit Analyst will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness of corporate, SME, and private clients, preparing detailed credit proposals, and supporting the structuring of financing solutions. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial statements, cash flows, collateral, and market conditions; preparing credit memos; and contributing to risk assessments and approval documentation. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external lenders, maintaining accurate records, monitoring existing client exposures, and supporting refinancing or consolidation strategies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular interaction with clients and financial institutions and participation in client meetings and lender discussions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Credit and Credit Management skills, including assessment of borrower profiles, evaluation of collateral, and understanding of structured lending.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, cash-flow evaluation, and risk modeling.
- Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Finance, including knowledge of corporate finance, lending products, and capital markets concepts.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written credit memos, concise presentations, and professional client and lender interactions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating within a small, high-performance team.
- Prior experience in credit analysis, corporate banking, NBFCs, or debt advisory is preferred, along with strong ethical judgment and a client-centric approach.
