Chief Warden

Job Title: Female Chief Warden – Residential Services

Department: Residential Services

Location: Chitkara University (Punjab Campus)

Job Summary:

The Chief Warden will be responsible for the overall management, administration, and discipline of student residential facilities. The role involves ensuring a safe, secure, and student-friendly living environment while maintaining university policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the functioning of all hostels and residential facilities on campus
• Ensure safety, security, and discipline among residents
• Supervise wardens, caretakers, and hostel support staff
• Handle student grievances and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Implement and enforce hostel rules, policies, and code of conduct
• Coordinate with administration, security, and medical teams for emergency situations
• Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and quality of hostel facilities
• Conduct regular inspections of hostels and dining areas
• Manage room allotments, occupancy records, and related documentation

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in any discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in hostel administration/student affairs/residential services
