Network Engineer

Title: Network Engineer

Experience: 3+ years

Location: Hyderabad

Skills Required: Cisco routing ,Cisco switching, Monitoring, configuration CCNA

Notice Period: Immediate joiner or up to 1 month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure across enterprise/data center environments

• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP (as applicable)

• Manage switching technologies: VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, LACP, trunking

• Handle advanced troubleshooting for network outages, latency, packet loss, and asymmetric routing issues

• Implement and support high availability and redundancy solutions (HSRP, VRRP, MLAG, VSX, VSS)

• Work closely with firewall and security teams (FortiGate, Check Point, F5 preferred)

• Perform network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization

• Support WAN, MPLS, Internet, and VPN connectivity

• Manage and troubleshoot load balancers (F5 LTM preferred)

• Participate in change management, maintenance windows, and root cause analysis (RCA)

• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs

• Provide L3/L4 escalation support and mentor L1/L2 engineers

• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, ARP, ICMP, DNS, DHCP

• Routing: OSPF, BGP (route filtering, redistribution, path selection)

• Switching: VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, MAC learning

• Network troubleshooting using packet capture and CLI tools

• Experience with Cisco, Dell switches/routers

• High availability protocols: HSRP / VRRP

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. (ECE/EEE/CS/IT) with 3+ years of relevant experience in Network Routing and Switching and a valid CCNA or higher certification.
