Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Google Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and cloud-native data engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines on GCP.
- Develop ETL/ELT solutions using Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
- Implement data models and support data warehousing initiatives.
- Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Optimize data processing workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with business teams, data analysts, and data scientists to deliver data solutions.
- Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of data pipelines.
- Work with big data technologies and cloud-native architectures.
Required: GCP, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Python, SQL, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Hadoop/Spark.
Good to Have: GCP Data Engineer Certification, Terraform, Airflow, Vertex AI, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, AWS/Azure exposure.
