Product Manager/Product Owner , BFS Consulting

Location: Chennai

Experience: 8+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner to 30 days

Education: MBA [ Tier 1/Tier 2 B-school ]

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to drive the vision, roadmap, discovery, prioritization, and modernization of enterprise platforms. The role requires a proactive, outcome-oriented professional who can independently engage with senior/global stakeholders, identify business and product gaps, and translate opportunities into actionable product requirements.

Primary Skillset

  • Strong Product Management and Product Ownership experience in enterprise platforms/products
  • Proven experience owning product vision, roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a self-starter, identify gaps proactively, and drive modernization opportunities rather than simply executing requirements
  • Experience leading product discovery workshops, requirement definition, and outcome-based prioritization

Domain Preference

  • BFS experience preferred
  • Lending domain exposure is a strong advantage but not mandatory
  • Experience with enterprise knowledge management, content management, document repositories, operational portals, or workflow platforms would be highly relevant

AI/Modernization Exposure - Added Advantage

  • Working knowledge of GenAI concepts such as:
    • RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
    • Document Intelligence
    • Intelligent Search
    • Knowledge Extraction
    • AI-enabled Workflow Automation
  • Need not be a Data Scientist, but should be capable of identifying and defining AI-driven product opportunities and translating them into business requirements

Stakeholder Management

  • Experience working directly with senior business stakeholders
  • Comfortable engaging with global stakeholders and driving discussions independently
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and requirement-challenging skills

Agile/Product Certifications

  • Preferred:
    • CSPO/PSPO/SAFe POPM/PMI-ACP/PMP (good to have)

Tools

  • Azure DevOps (preferred)
  • Experience managing backlogs, epics, features, user stories, and release planning
