Associate

We are looking for a Corporate Commercial lawyer with experience in advising on commercial matters, particularly in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts. Experience in leasing transactions will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual terms, commercial risks and legal implications.
• Manage contract negotiations with clients, vendors, service providers and other business partners.
• Provide legal support on day-to-day corporate and commercial matters.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks while ensuring business objectives are addressed.
• Assist in structuring and documenting commercial transactions.
• Support the team on leasing and related real estate transactions, where required.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical and commercially oriented advice.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely closure of transactions.

Desired Experience & Skills

• Qualified lawyer with relevant experience in corporate commercial matters.
• Strong experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Good understanding of contractual principles and commercial risk.
• Experience in leasing transactions will be an added advantage.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and provide practical legal solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
