Job Title: Cloud Platform Security Specialist

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for providing advanced technical security guidance to enhance the security posture of cloud platforms. The specialist will drive adoption and implementation of cloud security solutions, ensuring compliance and security standards are met, while collaborating closely with cyber security operational teams.

Key Accountabilities:

• Establish and enforce security governance and baselines across cloud environments, primarily focusing on Azure.
• Provide consultancy to development and operational teams on security and compliance best practices.
• Lead the design, validation, and development of secure standards for applications and infrastructure, ensuring auditable compliance.
• Innovate security analysis and design approaches to strengthen cloud practices.
• Ensure solutions align with strategic architecture from both application and infrastructure perspectives.
• Collaborate with solution architects and product management to define security baselines.
• Demonstrate innovations through prototyping and proof-of-concept work.
• Manage project deliverables efficiently, ensuring timely delivery within budget and addressing risks proactively.
• Communicate security enhancements and improvements effectively to stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprise architects and delivery teams, fostering a security-aware culture.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in coding with cloud technologies, especially Azure.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure security models, enterprise integration, and cloud design patterns.
• Proven experience in coding for infrastructure across IaaS/PaaS/SaaS.
• Certifications: AZ-500 Azure Security Expert, SC-100 Cybersecurity Architect, AZ-305 Azure Solution Architect, and Cloud Security Professional.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Desirable: Experience in financial services market knowledge.
