Social Media Content & Design

Position: Full-time, hybrid (Lower Parel, Mumbai)

Paper Plane Tales is looking for a Social Media Manager - Content & Design who will develop content ideas and create engaging posts, reels, carousels, stories and other social assets for the brands that we work with as an agency. 

We are looking for someone who is experienced in working with social media content for brands end-to-end- from ideation, creation, scheduling, posting, to managing performance and engagement.

• 1-3 years into creating and managing social media content for brands, preferably in an agency environment
• Excited about working in a fast-moving, founder-led agency
• Passionate about using digital content and social media to build brands and drive success
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and adhering to deadlines

Responsibilities: 

• Develop content ideas based on client strategies, content calendars, trends, formats and relevant content opportunities
• Create social media content including Reels, posts, carousels, Stories, simple designs and social assets using Canva
• Write captions, hooks, scripts and basic social copy
• Shoot photo/video content using a phone, edit short-form videos and reels and support in client shoots
• Manage day-to-day posting and, scheduling across social platforms and track content performance 
• Support community management, comments, DMs and engagement
• Create and manage content for Paper Plane Tales' own social media and marketing

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in social media content creation for brands
• Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and platform specific trends
• Excellent Canva skills
• Good Reels and video editing skills - Premiere Pro, CapCut, InShot or similar
• Good copywriting and English language skills
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance
