Freelance Opportunity – Workday Lease Accounting Consultant / Financials SME
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Workday Lease Accounting Consultant / Workday Financials SME for a project involving Workday Lease Accounting implementation, LeaseQuery migration, reconciliation, testing, and post-go-live support.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Workday Lease Accounting for real estate, equipment, vehicles, copiers, etc.
- Handle ASC 842 requirements, including modifications, remeasurements, renewals and terminations.
- Lead LeaseQuery → Workday migration, including mapping, conversion, reconciliation and cutover.
- Configure GL, Business Assets, Supplier Accounts, Worktags, Spend Categories and Account Posting Rules.
- Reconcile ROU assets, lease liabilities, lease schedules and GL balances.
- Execute Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing and Production Deployment.
- Support month-end close, reporting, production issues and enhancements.
- Act as the Workday Financials / Lease Accounting SME and collaborate with Finance,
- Accounting, AP, Procurement and technical teams.
