Video Editor

ROLE OVERVIEW

As our Video Editor, you will own end-to-end post-production across brand, campaign, product, and social content.

The role requires strong editing craft, visual storytelling, and motion design, with the ability to use AI tools

strategically to extend creative possibilities and improve production workflows. You should be equally comfortable

shaping a narrative in the edit, building branded motion graphics, and integrating AI-generated assets into a polished

final film.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit and produce polished short-form and long-form video content for social media, paid campaigns, product

videos, explainers, brand films, interviews, and internal communications.

• Own the post-production process including footage selection, pacing, transitions, colour correction and grading,

sound design, subtitles, versioning, and final delivery.

• Create high-quality motion graphics including kinetic typography, title sequences, lower thirds, logo animations,

infographics, UI animations, explainers, transitions, and branded motion systems.

• Use Adobe After Effects for 2D animation, compositing, masking, tracking, rotoscoping, visual effects, and other

motion-led treatments where required.

• Use AI tools for concept development, image and video generation, image-to-video workflows, clean-up,

upscaling, voiceover, localisation, and other production enhancements.

• Integrate AI-generated footage and assets seamlessly into traditional edits while maintaining consistency in style,

lighting, movement, quality, and brand identity.

• Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to translate briefs, scripts, and storyboards into clear,

engaging video narratives.

• Optimise content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, ads, and other platforms with the correct aspect

ratios, captions, durations, codecs, and export settings.

• Maintain organised project files, reusable templates, and video assets while delivering multiple projects on time

in a fast-paced creative environment.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, post-production, or a closely related

creative role.

• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and AI-assisted

or AI-generated video work.

• Software proficiency: strong working knowledge of industry-standard editing and motion-design software.

Adobe Premiere Pro | Adobe After Effects | DaVinci Resolve | Final Cut Pro

• Strong editing fundamentals with a sharp sense of storytelling, pacing, music, rhythm, transitions, composition,

and audience retention.

• Strong motion graphics skills with a solid understanding of typography, animation principles, keyframing,

compositing, and visual hierarchy.

• Hands-on experience with AI video and creative-generation tools such as Runway, Sora, Kling AI, Pika, HeyGen,

Synthesia, or similar platforms.

• Good technical knowledge of video formats, codecs, frame rates, resolutions, colour workflows, sound, export

settings, and project-file management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with AI image-generation tools such as Midjourney, DALL·E, or Stable Diffusion for creating assets,

style frames, and visual references.

• Working knowledge of Blender or Cinema 4D for integrating basic 3D elements into motion-design projects.

• Strong prompt-writing skills and experience combining multiple AI tools into practical creative workflows.

• Experience creating reusable motion templates, MOGRTs, Lottie animations, or modular branded animation

systems.

• Basic knowledge of production automation or batch workflows using tools such as FFmpeg or Python.

• Prior experience in a startup, agency, fintech, technology, or fast-paced brand environment.
