Account Manager

About the Role

HiveMinds is looking for an Account Manager – Performance Marketing with strong hands-on experience in Google Ads and Meta Ads, along with proven client servicing experience in a digital/performance marketing agency environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding business objectives, developing performance marketing strategies, and ensuring effective campaign execution and delivery. The candidate should be comfortable working with clients, internal teams, and performance data to drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Servicing & Account Management

• Own day-to-day relationships with assigned clients and act as the primary point of contact.
• Understand client business objectives, marketing goals, challenges, and expectations.
• Conduct regular client calls and performance reviews and communicate campaign progress, insights, and recommendations.
• Build strong and long-term relationships with clients and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Proactively identify client requirements, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Handle client escalations and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

2. Performance Marketing – Google & Meta

• Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
• Manage campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, Shopping, Meta Prospecting, Retargeting, and other relevant formats.
• Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and growth.
• Manage budgets, bids, targeting, audiences, creatives, and campaign structures.
• Drive improvement in key performance metrics such as ROAS, CAC, CPL, CPA, CTR, CVR, and revenue.
• Work closely with creative and content teams to develop performance-oriented creatives and communication.

3. Data & Performance Analysis

• Analyse campaign and business performance data to identify trends, issues, and growth opportunities.
• Prepare regular performance reports and present key insights and recommendations to clients.
• Translate data into actionable business recommendations rather than limiting analysis to campaign-level metrics.
• Work with analytics teams on conversion tracking, attribution, GA4, and other measurement requirements.

4. Strategy & Business Growth

• Develop full-funnel performance marketing strategies based on client objectives.
• Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and expansion of existing client mandates.
• Contribute to business reviews, quarterly planning, and growth strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in Google, Meta, industry trends, and emerging performance marketing practices.

5. Internal Team Management

• Coordinate with performance marketing specialists, analysts, creative teams, and other internal stakeholders.
• Ensure campaigns and deliverables are executed within agreed timelines.
• Provide direction to junior team members and ensure quality of output.
• Maintain clear communication between clients and internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in performance marketing, preferably within a digital marketing/performance marketing agency.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads.
• Proven experience managing client accounts and client relationships.
• Experience handling performance marketing campaigns with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of ROAS, CAC, CPA, CPL, CTR, CVR, conversion tracking, and attribution.
• Good understanding of GA4 and GTM is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to confidently interact with clients and present performance insights.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and stakeholder-management skills.
