Deputy Manager - Legal - A listed Real Estate & Construction Development Company, Mumbai
Job Summary: A listed real estate and development company is looking to hire an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to manage the legal aspects of real estate transactions, provide legal opinions on property-related issues, and handle various property matters in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Maharashtra land laws and RERA regulations, along with strong legal drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.

The company has successfully delivered projects that have earned a customer base of 15,000+ and more than 300 projects.
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Designation: Deputy Manager - Legal
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate property-related agreements such as Agreements for Sale, Development Agreements, Joint Development Agreements, Sale Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, etc.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts/agreements related to the support functions of the Company.
- Conduct title due diligence, revenue record scrutiny, encumbrance checks and search reports.
- Ensure compliance with Maharashtra-specific real estate laws, including MLRC, RERA, MOFA and other applicable legislations.
- Handle RERA registrations, updates and compliance filings.
- Identify legal risks in transactions and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide legal opinions on property-related issues.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Maharashtra-specific property laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Prior experience in RERA Compliance and Registration is preferred.
Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
Experience: 6+ years. (hands-on real estate legal experience, preferably in Maharashtra.)
Working Days: Monday-Saturday
