About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated SDE-2 Frontend Engineer to build intuitive, performant, and scalable web applications with AI woven into the product rather than bolted on. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys crafting exceptional user experiences, building modern React applications, and leveraging AI to create smarter, more delightful products .You'll work closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and AI teams to deliver responsive, high-quality user interfaces while integrating AI-powered capabilities that enhance the user experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces with a strong focus on usability and user experience.
• Integrate AI-powered features into frontend workflows, including conversational interfaces, AI assistants, and intelligent user experiences.
• Consume and integrate REST APIs and backend services efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and AI teams to translate product requirements into elegant frontend solutions.
• Optimize application performance, rendering, and frontend architecture for scalability.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve frontend reliability and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and help elevate frontend engineering standards across the team.

Must-Have Skills.

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js
• Strong experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router, routing, performance optimizati
• on)Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript. Experience working with REST APIs and frontend integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.), and component design
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern styling solutions (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, Styled Components, etc.)
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and browser rendering
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Ability to independently own frontend features from design to production
• AI-native mindset with comfort using AI tools and LLM-powered developer workflows

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience building AI-powered frontend experiences such as AI copilots, conversational interfaces, or intelligent dashboards
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and AI SDKs into production applications.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, streaming responses, function/tool calling, and RAG-based user interfaces
• Experience working with agentic AI systems and multi-step AI workflowsTrack record of shipping AI features that delivered measurable product or business impact

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of professional frontend software development experience
• Proven track record of building and scaling production-grade web applications
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
