Educational Qualification & Certifications

• Essential Qualification:
• BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (IT / Computers)
• Mandatory Certification:
• At least one of the following:
• CISSP / CISM / CCSP
• Experience:
• Minimum 10+ years in Information Security / Cyber Security / Government IT Projects

Key Experience & Skill Requirements

The candidate should have demonstrated experience in:

• Information Security and Cyber Security implementation in large organizations and Government projects
• Assessing and evaluating a wide range of information security solutions, platforms and products
• Designing solution architecture and security frameworks
• Excellent drafting, documentation, technical writing, communication and presentation skills
• Building and maintaining strong vendor alliances and strategic partnerships
• Advising Senior Management on Information Security strategies and implementation roadmaps
• Providing thought leadership and supporting senior leadership in organization-wide security visioning
• Managing relationships across the organization and with external vendors, including discussions at Board and Executive levels on value, benefits and risk

Job Profile / Responsibilities

The Senior Manager – Security Solutions will be responsible for the overall security posture of UIDAI and shall perform the following:

• Manage daily operations and execution of the IT Security Strategy
• Conduct continuous assessment of existing IT security practices, systems and controls, and identify gaps
• Oversee implementation of security processes, review effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Draft and issue security advisories, notifications and circulars to partners, vendors and stakeholders
• Lead, guide and evaluate the performance of junior security staff
• Drive change management initiatives and build new IT security capabilities
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize cyber risks, vulnerabilities and attack surfaces
• Assist UIDAI in all Information Security operational matters, including:
• Security incidents and breaches
• Cyber security advisories
• Network deployment and security operations
• Configuration management
• System hardening, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Review, analyse and follow-up on advisories and alerts issued by:
• CERT-In
• NCIIPC
• SANS
• US-CERT
• Other national and international cyber security agencies
