AGM - Internal Audit

Century Real Estate company is looking for an AGM - Internal Audit. The candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements. The role involves overseeing audit projects, ensuring compliance with audit standards, and providing recommendations for improvement. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution:

• Assist in the development of audit plans, including risk assessments and audit objectives.
• Coordinate with the General Manager to define the scope and objectives of audits.

Audit Reporting:

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Present audit findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure improvements are made.

Risk Assessment and Control Evaluation:

• Identify and assess areas of risk within the organization.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and operational processes.
• Recommend enhancements to mitigate risks and improve controls.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards that may impact audit practices.

Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of audit methodologies and tools.
• Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between the audit department and other departments within the organization.

Qualifications:

• CA Inter/CA
• Audit exposure to real estate companies is preferred
