About the Role

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering invites applications from highly motivated and research-oriented academicians for the position of Assistant Professor. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out research activities, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional development.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Develop and deliver innovative and engaging course content.
• Conduct laboratory sessions and guide student projects.
• Pursue high-quality research leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.
• Apply for research grants, funded projects, and consultancy assignments.
• Mentor students in academic, research, and career development activities.
• Participate in curriculum design, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with industry and academic institutions for research and knowledge exchange.
• Undertake administrative and departmental responsibilities as assigned by the University.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a closely related discipline from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions is Mandatory.
• M.E./M.Tech. and B.E./B.Tech. in relevant disciplines with a consistently strong academic record.
• Demonstrated research capabilities with publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals/conferences.
• Strong subject knowledge in one or more areas such as:
• VLSI Design
• Embedded Systems
• Communication Systems
• Signal Processing
• Wireless Communication
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Artificial Intelligence Applications in ECE
• Semiconductor Technologies

Preferred Skills

• Post-doctoral research experience from reputed institutions.
• Experience in securing research grants and industry-sponsored projects.
• Exposure to interdisciplinary research and innovation activities.
• Experience in NBA/NAAC accreditation-related academic processes.
• Industry experience in relevant technology domains will be an added advantage.

Experience

Fresh Ph.D. graduates with strong research credentials may apply. Candidates with 0-5 years of teaching, research, or industry experience in relevant areas are preferred.
