As a Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead a talented engineering team supporting our Product Engineering team. You’ll combine people leadership, technical understanding, and delivery management to build secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers.
  • Manage engineering priorities, resources, risks, and delivery commitments.
  • Support employees through regular feedback, performance reviews, career development, and training plans.
  • Partner with product, architecture, quality engineering, security, and global engineering teams.
  • Guide the development and maintenance of software products in alignment with business and customer needs.
  • Promote strong engineering practices, automation, continuous improvement, and responsible use of AI-enabled development tools.
  • Ensure product security, compliance, and secure software development lifecycle practices.
  • Identify and resolve technical, operational, and delivery challenges.
  • Participate in management escalation and on-call support when required.
  • Follow all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • More than 12 years of technology industry experience, including at least 5 years in software development and/or design, along with proven engineering leadership experience.
  • Previous people management, engineering management, or technical leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience managing delivery, team performance, stakeholder expectations, and competing priorities.
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of product security and secure software development practices.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience developing enterprise-grade or business-critical software.
  • Exposure to payments, fintech, banking technology, or another regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, test automation, and observability.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams.
