Position: Engineer - QA
Location: Pune/ Remote
Job Type: Contractual Role for 3 months.

Job Description:
As an Engineer - QA you will ensure the quality and reliability of applications by designing, implementing, and executing robust testing processes.
Responsibilities :
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts.
  • Collaborate with development teams to address quality concerns and ensure test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple platforms.
  • Analyse and report test results, tracking bugs to resolution.
  • Support QA Team in POCs around various tools and tech.
  • Research and implement tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements  (Must Have) :
  • 2-4 years of QA experience, preferably with Drupal or CMS systems.
  • Proficiency in manual testing and defect lifecycle management, with exposure to automation.
  • Strong knowledge of functional, UI/UX Testing and accessibility testing.
  • Must have experience in basic Drupal site building.
  • Experience with web-based application testing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Well-versed with JIRA tools, like reporting, tracking bugs, creation and linking of stories.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
Good to Have:
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in API testing and tools like Postman.
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing tools.
Qualification :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. Preferably  playwright automation skills and using AI in QA in addition to this
