Manager - GL Consolidation and MIS

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented finance professional to manage General Ledger (GL) consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple business units/entities and deliver insightful MIS reports for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

1. Ensure timely month-end and year-end GL closing activities.
2. Consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS/US GAAP).
3. Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions.
4. Manage and maintain chart of accounts consistency across entities.
5. Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.
6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
7. Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide commentary.
8. Provide financial insights and dashboards for business reviews and management decision-making.
9. Work closely with FP&A team to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles.
10. Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
11. Identify process gaps and implement improvements in reporting and consolidation practices.
12. Streamline and automate consolidation and MIS processes using ERP and reporting tools.

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements :

1.Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CA) with minimum 4-5 years’ experience in accounts & finance.
2.Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
3.Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS, or US GAAP.
4.Experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
6.Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
7.Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement automation and controls.
