Job Summary

Sr Software Engineer B2 role focuses on designing and delivering robust enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot Microservices Angular ten plus and SQL Oracle within a hybrid work model while collaborating closely with cross functional teams to ensure secure scalable and maintainable solutions that support business goals and create positive impact for customers and communities

Responsibilities

• Design robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot to deliver secure scalable and efficient business capabilities that support complex enterprise workflows
• Develop modular microservices architectures that promote resilience independent deployment and clear separation of responsibilities for long term system sustainability
• Implement responsive user interfaces using Angular ten plus and JavaScript to provide intuitive accessible and engaging digital experiences for diverse users across devices
• Optimize SQL queries schemas and indexing strategies to ensure reliable data integrity high performance reporting and consistent transaction throughput for critical systems

• Collaborate with product and architecture partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions that balance feasibility maintainability and performance for ongoing evolution
• Create and maintain reusable components patterns and guidelines that help standardize the technology stack and reduce duplication across multiple applications within the organization
• Integrate microservices and front end applications with internal and external systems through secure APIs ensuring consistent data flows and adherence to organizational integration standards
• Apply secure coding practices across Java Angular and SQL components to protect sensitive information comply with security policies and reduce vulnerabilities in production environments
• Conduct thorough code reviews and unit testing to maintain reliability improve code quality and ensure adherence to defined coding standards and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot production and pre production issues by analyzing logs data flows and user scenarios to restore service quickly and prevent recurrence through targeted remediation
• Automate build test and deployment pipelines using continuous integration and delivery practices to shorten release cycles and improve predictability of software delivery outcomes
• Document technical designs service contracts and implementation decisions in a clear structured manner to support knowledge sharing onboarding and future enhancements within the team
• Partner with cross functional stakeholders to refine requirements identify technical risks and propose improvements that enhance system usability performance and overall business value

Qualifications

• possess a bachelor degree or higher in computer science information technology or a related field with substantial experience in building enterprise grade software solutions
• demonstrate eight to twelve years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend services microservices architectures and web application development
• show advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot including experience with dependency injection transaction management error handling and performance optimization for backend services
• exhibit solid experience with microservices design patterns including service decomposition interservice communication and configuration management to support distributed systems
• display strong competency in SQL including database design stored procedures performance tuning and troubleshooting of complex queries for relational database platforms
• demonstrate hands on experience with Angular ten plus and JavaScript including component based development state management and integration with RESTful backend services
• apply experience in hybrid work environments by collaborating effectively through digital tools maintaining clear communication and supporting distributed team members across locations
• communicate clearly in English with strong reading and writing abilities to document solutions explain technical topics and engage effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders

Certifications Required

Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or equivalent cloud or Java certification is preferred
