ServiceNow Developer

Black Box Network Services India Pvt Ltd. is looking for a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules across our enterprise. With a focus on ITSM/CSM/FSM/ITBM/Source to Pay modules, you will be responsible for integrating ServiceNow with other applications and ensuring a seamless user experience. Your expertise in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, and relational databases will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM, FSM, ITBM, and Source to Pay, to meet business requirements.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other applications and systems using APIs, JavaScript, and web services.
• Develop and maintain business rules, script includes, UI actions, and flow designer components.
• Write and debug client-side and server-side JavaScript for ServiceNow applications.
• Customize ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macros, CSS, HTML, and Jelly to enhance the user experience.
• Support and troubleshoot ServiceNow instances, providing timely resolutions to user issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for our ServiceNow implementation methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into ServiceNow configurations.
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices, and suggest enhancements to our processes.
• Document and maintain knowledge base articles for ServiceNow configurations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and integration.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, APIs, and JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and web services (SOAP, REST).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
