Role Description This is a part-time SAP Basis role based in Lucknow with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility. The SAP Basis professional will handle day-to-day administration of SAP systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and system maintenance. Responsibilities include managing system landscapes, coordinating transports, applying patches and upgrades, and ensuring high availability and security of SAP environments. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with functional and technical teams, and providing consulting support on SAP Basis best practices. The individual will document configurations and procedures, support database-related tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement of the SAP infrastructure.
Qualifications

• Strong SAP Basis and Basis Administration skills for managing SAP landscapes and system operations.
• Experience with Troubleshooting and Consulting to diagnose issues and advise stakeholders on technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Databases (such as Oracle, SQL Server, HANA) for SAP back-end administration and performance optimization.
• Understanding of operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and network fundamentals relevant to SAP environments.
• Familiarity with SAP system monitoring tools, transport management, backup and recovery, and user/authorization management.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Lucknow, manage time independently, and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; SAP Basis certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in consulting or IT services organizations and exposure to cloud-hosted SAP environments (AWS/Azure) is beneficial.
