Finance Business Partner 

POSITION PURPOSE:

The CH Finance Business Partner position is a multifunctional role acting as the primary representative and single point of contact for the CFO and all other support functions to the Country Division Head (CDH) and the local/regional divisional leadership team.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Being a gatekeeper for streamlined communication and executional lead of the CFO/other support functional tasks for the Division.
• He/she is a central strong change agent supporting the Division as well as the CFO and other support functions regarding changes impacting the Division and country organization.
• Partners with and provides advice to the local/regional (divisional) management, provides dedicated business analysis, decision support and leads the local performance management process with a mandate to constructively challenge the CDH and Divisional leadership team from a financial and economic perspective.
• Enables effective financial business steering and resource allocation in line with strategic objectives and provides the basis for planning and decision making of management including the proposal of appropriate corrective actions in case of deviations.
• Is an active member of the local Divisional Management Team and the interface to both, regional and global Divisional Finance functions Management.
• Responsible to coordinate and own the functional and process design, establishment and governance of all necessary support functions in line with company standards.

Commercial Excellence Execution

• Process and finance support for various Sales Effectiveness initiatives of account planning, territory sizing, Sales incentive plans. Develop and track KPI’s
• Analyze customer data, provide insights to support effective business decisions
• Financial analysis and decision support for Analysis and Revenue Optimization -pricing, commercial policies and portfolio management tools and processes
• Effectively utilize sales ( primary and secondary), inventory reports for business decisions –S&OP, sell out actions, financial steering
• Support marketing team on implementation of systems and tools and its effective use in driving business

Business Intelligence

• Provide financial framework for market and competitive analysis and research
• Provide financial support for analysis of products and help in forecast of long term trends
• Support robust analysis of data and information to assess and predict trends, risks and opportunities

Business operations management

• Partner with marketing team to define pricing strategies and plans, manage product portfolio
• Partner for effective launch plans of new products
• Support analytics and support data-based decision making
• Drive cross functional activities such as Product pricing, Transfer pricing, Tax forecasting & Cash flow forecasting.
• Partner with Risk Management and Auditors on Commercial policy, Statutory and Internal Audits
• Work on projects in multiple functional areas Supply Chain, Distribution, IT, Customer Excellence as well as any ad-hoc project

Compliance management

• Set up and standardize local controlling processes and practices and support platform on legal entity controlling

WHO YOU ARE:

• Chartered Accountant and preferably a Masters in Business Administration or Finance Management.
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years of supervisory or management experience with increasing responsibility as well as an in depth understanding of the complexities of financial and business transactions of a global operating business
• Strong entrepreneurial/start up mind set, FMCG/B2C industry experience is of advantage.
• Excellent MS office skills, Data One/SAP or HFM knowledge
• In-depth understanding of the complexities of financial and business transactions of a global operating business
• Strong networking and leadership capabilities to manoeuvre within the matrix organization between backbone functions, the division and external parties
• Advanced skills to analyze business and financial trends in order to make sound business decisions - anticipating future market developments
• Ability to multitask and self-starter 
• Experience on working on projects related to Supply chain, Distribution and Sales Force Effectiveness
