We are looking for an experienced 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 to design, build, enhance, and support approval and automation processes across SAP S/4HANA modules.

The role involves strong hands-on experience in custom workflows, approval logic, agent determination, event linkage, workflow troubleshooting, deadline monitoring, escalation rules, Fiori My Inbox, and migration toward SAP Build Process Automation.

The selected candidate will take end-to-end ownership of workflow design, build, optimization, troubleshooting, and permanent defect resolution while ensuring approval processes run efficiently without unnecessary manual intervention.

🛠️ 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

✅ Develop and enhance custom workflows and approval logic across finance, procurement, and logistics processes

✅ Configure events, tasks, Business Object Repository objects, and rules for dynamic agent determination

✅ Automate and optimize workflow processes across modules and eliminate manual approval steps wherever applicable

✅ Debug and resolve complex workflow execution issues including stuck work items and agent determination failures

✅ Analyze and clear workflow error queues and implement permanent fixes for recurring failures

✅ Support migration of classic SAP workflows to Fiori My Inbox and SAP Build Process Automation

✅ Build and maintain deadline monitoring, escalation, and substitution rules

✅ Prepare unit and functional test evidence for every workflow transport

✅ Support UAT and conduct end-user training on approval processes

✅ Maintain workflow documentation, agent matrices, and runbooks

✅ Ensure approval workflows remain stable, scalable, and operational across the S/4HANA landscape

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 / 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

✔️ Strong hands-on experience in 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 build and support

✔️ Strong expertise in Workflow Builder, Tasks, Events, BOR, and class-based objects

✔️ Strong experience in agent determination using rules, organizational structure, and custom function modules

✔️ Good ABAP skills to write and debug workflow classes, methods, and function modules

✔️ Strong live troubleshooting experience for stuck work items and workflow failures

✔️ Hands-on knowledge of 𝗦𝗪𝗜𝟭, 𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗟, 𝗦𝗪𝗨𝟯, and 𝗦𝗪𝗣𝗥

✔️ Strong understanding of event linkage and agent determination failures

✔️ Experience analyzing workflow error queues and safely reprocessing failed work items

✔️ Experience in deadline monitoring, escalation, and substitution rules

✔️ Good understanding of at least one approval-intensive business process end to end, such as:

• Purchase Requisition Release

• Invoice Approval

• Master Data Change

✔️ Experience in unit testing, functional testing, UAT, and workflow transport validation

✔️ Experience maintaining workflow documentation, agent matrices, and runbooks

✔️ Strong problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis capability in live production environments

⭐ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 / 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱-𝘁𝗼-𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

✔️ Experience with 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

✔️ Exposure to Workflow Management on SAP BTP

✔️ Experience in Fiori My Inbox configuration and extension

✔️ Exposure to OpenText VIM Workflow

✔️ Experience migrating classic SAP workflows to modern Fiori / BTP-based workflow solutions
