Role Description The Electronic Technician role is a full-time hybrid position based in Chennai, with some such as documentation, remote support, and planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic circuits and devices, performing component-level repairs, and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment. The technician will assemble and modify electronic systems, complete high-quality soldering work, and ensure all repairs meet safety and performance standards. The role also involves maintaining service records, managing basic inventory of parts and tools, communicating clearly with clients about issues and solutions, and coordinating onsite visits and remote support as needed.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Electronics Technology and Electricity, including understanding of circuits, components, and safety standards.
  • Candidates should possess hands-on skills in Soldering and component-level assembly for repair, modification, and prototyping of electronic devices.
  • Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose faults, interpret test results, and implement effective repair solutions.
  • Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for electronic equipment, including preventive checks, calibration, and replacement of faulty parts.
  • Relevant technical diploma, certification, or degree in electronics or electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics, use test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.), and follow safety guidelines in workshop and onsite environments.
  • Good communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in field service, consumer electronics repair, industrial electronics, or similar domains will be an added advantage.
